Dr. Omprakash Daswani
Dr Omprakash is an alumnus from GDC, Nagpur, 1971 batch. He started the first private practice in the city of Nagpur in 1977, and has catered to not just the population in Nagpur but also of adjoining districts and states like Amravati, Wardha, Chandrapur, Bhandara, Gondia, Betule and as far as Raipur. He takes a special interest in prosthetics and has trained many a dentists under him, who themselves are good practitioners today in the city of Nagpur.
As a recognition of his contribution, Indian Dental Association, Nagpur branch’s award for highest marks in Prosthodontics (theory) for final years students in all three local colleges is instituted in his name.
Dr. Lokesh Daswani
Dr Lokesh did his BDS from VSPM dental college (Nagpur). After securing all-India rank in post-grad entrance, he did his MDS in Periodontics and Implantology and passed out as the Gold medallist from RDC, Guwahati. He has presented papers and posters in national conferences and keeps himself updated with CME/CDEs.
He is the chief implant and gum surgeon at Das Dental clinics, and was the first to place CAD-CAM guided dental implants in Nagpur, which substantially increases accuracy of dental implant placement.
Dr. Badal Daswani
Dr Badal did his BDS from SPDC, Wardha. After cracking multiple all-India post-grad entrances, he chose one of the most prestigious ortho departments of India in CODS, Davanagere (RGUHS Bangalore) for his MDS in Orthodontics.
Now, he is the chief Orthodontist at Sadar branch of Das Dental Clinics and also takes a keen interest in root canals after having done multiple certificate courses in endodontics.
He is one of the earliest providers of Aligners (teeth straightening without braces) in Nagpur.
Dr. Mishti Daswani
Dr Mishti did her BDS from Gulbarga and her MDS in Orthodontics from Shri Sai Dental college, Vikarabad. She has been a winner at research paper presentation in national conference, Chennai and keeps herself updated by attending national and regional conferences.
Dr. Shraddha Daswani
She is the chief Prosthodontist at Das Dental Clinics. Dr. Shraddha did her BDS and MDS (Prosthodontics) from VSPM dental college. She has also had an experience as a senior lecturer for four years in VSPM dental college, training under grad students. She has published various research articles in speciality prostho journals; and presented various papers/posters at various conferences. She has also published a book by the name ‘Magnets in Prosthodontics’.
